A social media-focused creator, community builder, and marketing professional. Former Social Media Manager for Iron Galaxy Studios and AAA game Rumbleverse. My goal is to better the lives of those in the industry, company, and people I put my efforts behind. Making inclusive, joyous, engaging, and sustainable communities and content where life is just a little better for all.
Beyond Social Media Manager of Rumbleverse, I also ran Iron Galaxy Studios' social presence by creating content to spotlight employees, and social media support for ports and remasters we co-developed, like Uncharted Legacy of Thieves, Last of Us Part 1, and Metroid Prime Remastered.
From there, I took on the Director of Content and Social Media role at a marketing agency. I took my time there to soak in, leading a department, guiding inter-departmental collaboration, and learning valuable lessons from the social media managers I managed, all new to the workforce.
My specialty is community building and management through strategic communications and operations. I develop a strategy based on an organization's goals and measure the ROI analytics, presenting those analytics to stakeholders to inform business decisions. Oof, that's a mouthful. It's a complex way of saying I build sustainable communities in the places and spaces I put my efforts behind. Communities built around care and consideration for what they require. Growing them into copacetic relationships that are beneficial for the community and business.
Using these three pillars to guide me I've adapted to the trends, knowing when to pivot my career. From print to digital marketing, email marketing, and Social Media. The marketing name may change but the general principles stay the same. Throughout my career, I've approached my work with a creative mindset pulling from our past and looking to the future to find our present, while considering the collective perspective of diversity to come to an inclusive answer, intending to build sustainable communities that maintain themselves. Currently, we are seeing the impact Social Media has on communications and how people and brands are improperly utilizing its potential. Social is not the future of communications it is the present. I want to work with like-minded people to tap into and build beautiful, sustainable communities of humans.
